Our Disneyland Scavenger Hunt Reveal
Some surprises are small.
This one involved clues, riddles, and a castle.
Instead of simply announcing we were heading to Disneyland Park, we turned the reveal into an experience of its own — a scavenger hunt designed to slowly unfold the magic.
Each clue hinted at something iconic. A mouse with big dreams. A place where fireworks light the sky. A castle where wishes come true. The kids ran from room to room piecing together the story.
“Is it Disney?”
“No way.”
“Wait. WAIT. Are we really going?!”
The final clue confirmed it.
Screams. Jumping. Tears. Pure disbelief.
And that was before we even left the house.

Because yes — Disney is magical. But it’s also strategic. So we planned intentionally. We built an itinerary that balanced high-energy thrills with moments to pause.
We rope-dropped our must-do rides. Secured Lightning Lanes for the heavy hitters. Built in a midday reset to avoid exhaustion spirals. Each child chose one non-negotiable experience so everyone felt ownership in the adventure.
We ate churros on Main Street. We watched faces light up on classic rides. We stood shoulder to shoulder under fireworks as the castle glowed in front of us.
But what made this trip unforgettable wasn’t just the attractions.
It was the intention behind it.
