Lotería & Lagers 2026 at Az Wilderness Miracle Mile
More Than an Event
Our second annual Lotería & Lagers was a special milestone, the first official fundraiser for the newly founded Duncan Family Foundation.
The newly established 501(c)(3) gives a permanent home to philanthropic work that the Duncan Family has been growing for years. Through this new chapter, The Duncan Family Foundation will continue supporting meaningful initiatives locally through DFF Youth Pathways and across the border through its relationship with Fundación Educarte in Puerto Peñasco.
Mamacitas is honored to bring its spirit of connection and community-building into this work. Our hope is that this partnership will allow us to collaborate more deeply, welcome new supporters, and create an even greater impact together.

Behind the scenes of our second annual Lotería & Lagers and the people who transformed an idea into an unforgettable evening.
Guests entered Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co. Miracle Mile location, the invitation instructed them to make a call on the vintage black phone to ‘La Luna’, a host on the other side asked for their password and directed each individual through a hidden passage and stepped into our Lotería & Lagers speakeasy. What they saw at the turn of a welcome sign was a beautifully transformed brewery, carefully styled tables, custom signage, a generous buffet, curated beer tastings, and an incredible collection of prizes.

Chef David and the Arizona Wilderness team created special menu items exclusively for our guests, elevating the evening far beyond a traditional fundraiser meal.
The buffet may have looked effortless when it opened, but the preparation began days earlier. Chef David collaborated with our event coordinator, refined the menu, prepared ingredients, and led his team through the work required to serve a full room.
The VIP experience included appetizers and an exclusive tasting led by JT, who thoughtfully selected three beers to complement the evening’s menu. Every plate and pour reflected genuine hospitality.
Los Premios
One of the most exciting parts of Lotería & Lagers was watching guests win prizes contributed by businesses from across the Valley, many in attendance. The prize display represented extraordinary generosity. It also represented weeks of outreach.
There were introductions made by friends who believed in the mission, sponsorship requests, cold emails, follow-ups, donation pickups, and messages sent until the final hours to confirm that every gift had arrived.
Our community partners contributed from custom wooden pieces, gift cards, wellness products, boutique items, professional services, farm-fresh produce, curated experiences, and so much more!
Each contribution mattered. Together, valued at $2,000+ in prizes and experiences for our guests.
Our silent auction extended that impact beyond the brewery walls. One winner claimed her prize while bidding from home, reminding us that community participation can take many forms.

The room was filled with custom posters, menus, table details, photo booth courtesy of Timeless Photobooth, and interactive touches designed specifically for the evening.
Our scratch-off poster became one of the evening’s special activations. Guests revealed their “lucky card of the night,” giving them an additional reason to cheer during the final round of Lotería.
Uno. Dos. Tres, Unforgettable Rounds of Lotería
Miss US Latina Mexico, Esmeralda Sierra, traveled from Casa Grande to lead our guests through three energetic rounds of Lotería.
The room was filled with laughter, anticipation, and a little friendly competition. By the final game, the energy had shifted from playful to intense as guests competed for the Premio Mayor, sponsored by our friends at Colados Coffee & Crepes.
The grand-prize experience, valued at over $500, included certificates to a private dinner for two prepared by Chef Clarissa of Fioré, champagne, a Candlelight Concert experience, and Colados merchandise.
For a few moments, the entire room seemed to hold its breath.
That excitement was exactly what we had hoped to create: an experience rooted in culture, connection, generosity, and joy.
The People Behind the Pictures
Beautiful events do not simply happen.
They are built through collaboration, one measurement, menu revision, sponsor introduction, supply run, email, phone call, and helping hand at a time.
They are built by chefs who begin preparing days before the guests arrive. By brewery teams who clean and prepare their workspaces. By sponsors who contribute before they know how everything will come together. By friends who advocate for the mission. By volunteers who cut signs, carry boxes, greet guests, solve problems, and step into whatever role is needed.
These picture-perfect moment deserve to be celebrated.
So does every human being who helped create it.
