2026 Victory Hike
300 Steps. One Breath. Shared Strength.
There is something sacred about climbing before the world fully wakes up.
Our Victory Hike took place at the iconic Victory Steps — a staircase carved into the desert hills of Verrado in Buckeye, Arizona. Over 300 steps rising straight into the morning sky. No shade. No shortcuts. Just you and the climb.
We gathered at the base as the sun began to stretch across the mountains.
No polished versions of ourselves.
No titles.
No to-do lists.
Just breath.
This wasn’t just a workout. It was symbolic. Every woman arrived holding something unseen — a goal, a transition, a question, a heaviness. The climb became a metaphor for the year ahead. Progress isn’t always graceful. It isn’t always linear. But step by step, you rise.
When we reached the top, there were cheers — the kind that come from earned accomplishment, not competition.
We each placed a stone we carried from the base, as with each step we recited, “I receive…”.
But the morning didn’t end there. We descended — lighter in spirit, fuller in heart.
Some yards from the steps we gathered for a picnic for our handmade exchange. Each Mamacita brought something she created or something meaningful to share — some physical gifts, others emotional offerings from the heart. Talents were exchanged. Stories were offered freely. Encouragement flowed.
No one kept score.
No one explained their worth.
Everyone contributed something uniquely theirs.
Victory doesn’t always look like a trophy.
Sometimes it looks like 300 steps at sunrise.
Sometimes it sounds like synchronized breathing in the desert air.
Sometimes it feels like women choosing to show up — for themselves and for each other.

The Victory Hike reminded us of something simple but powerful:
You are capable.
You are supported.
And you are never climbing alone.
And somehow, at the top of those steps in Buckeye, it felt less like we conquered something…
And more like we remembered who we already are
Who else is in their MamaCitas Era?
